Wez and Nicola came to the studio yesterday evening for their pre wedding shoot. Some photographers who have’nt got the luxury of a studio would have had the Bride and Groom at the venue or maybe a local park to photograph the couple but as it was a cold rainy night at the start of December we settled for the warmth of the studio…Thankfully.
Wez and Nicola are getting married at Oulton Hall which is a venue that we know very well and photographed many times over the years. Helen the wedding co-ordinator there, is a great help and is always on hand to make the day run smoothly.
Despite Nicola’s reservations about having her photograph taken (i dont know why as she is beautiful as you can see) the couple settled into the “job” really quickly and had a great time. This is what these “shoots” are all about. As a photographer I need to develop a workng partnership so when it comes to the wedding day, we are all comfortable which each other because it makes the whole process so much easier.
Nicola and Wez are getting married at Oulton Hall in February so I’m hoping for snow which would be great. If you bookmark this “blog” you will be able to view a few of their pictures later.
