Wedding pictures at Allerton Castle

We were in Harrogate this Saturday well to be precise Allerton Castle which isnt far off. For those of you that have read our “blogs” we are regular visitors to the Castle and love it there.

Clyde and Kirsty had really  ”gone for it” and the place looked amazing. Kirsty wanted a purple theme running through the wedding and it was noticable with the six inched purple  ”Christian Louboutin” shoes that she somehow managed to walk in. Now a little tip for the “Brides to be” Kirsty had a beautiful dress and  she vamped it up with accessories which looked great. When wearing a wedding dress thats off the shoulder, you should always go for a large necklace to add that something special. She also had a matching headdress and long white evening gloves to compliment the look.

The wedding pictures are fantastic, and we love them. We had a great time and big “Thank you’s” got to Claudia and Kevin who are some of the best wedding co-ordinators we are lucky enough to work with.

Waterton Park Hotel Wakefield

Wedding photographer waterton park hotelWe were delighted to be asked to produce the new “Showround” presention book for the Wedding co-ordinators at the Waterton Park Hotel near Wakefield. This is a fantastic wedding venue for Brides to get married at and its as equally good for the wedding photographer too. It has just about everything you could want from a wedding venue: beautiful surroundings, fine dining and Staff that are prepared to “go the extra mile”.

Pauline and Amanda are the wedding co-ordinators at “Waterton” and  show prospective Brides around this lovely place but its quite hard to visualise each room setting without seeing a picture of it. So they asked us (because we photograph many weddings over the year there) if they could have some help with a book to show to the Bride and Grooms on a “showround”

If your considering  getting married at Waterton have a quick peep for yourselves!!!

Jenny & Tom. Rudding Park Hotel

rudding park hotelThe Rudding Park Hotel is a beautiful Wedding venue tucked in the heart of north Yorkshire just outside of Harrogate. I have photographed many weddings there, and time and time again I have witnessed the staff pulling out all the stops for the Bride and Groom. The place is always immaculate and the staff always pay attention to detail.

So I was delighted to learn that that Jenny and Tom  had booked my services and we were bound for “Rudding”

Jenny wanted some “getting ready” shots, so my assistant (Yvonne) and myself arrive at there flat in Chapleallerton  Leeds . We arrived on time and were greeted by the usual chaos that we have grown to expect over the years.

So job done then off to the church and “shoot” the lads. I always like the guys to be at the church 45 minutes before the ceremony, so that we can photograph them before the guests arrive, and when we are done the Ushers can concentrate on their job!

Most Churches and wedding venues don’t like the Bride to be “fashionably late” anymore because it can interfere with the day badly. Tom had to endure an extra 15 minutes wait before Jenny arrived because the Wedding Car company got a bit lost!!. After that little “hic-cup” Jenny and Tom flew through the service with “flying colours. We held the “confetti shot ” just outside the Church with Grandma’s and Bridesmaids throwing every different type of confetti concievable and then off  we set to Rudding.

We stayed till well after 9.00pm covering the first dance and showing our popular slideshow of the various pictures taken throughout the day.

Its great to see the delight and a few tears on the Bride and Grooms face after the show…its a great buzz!!
